Woon Teck has extensive experience in the areas of internal and external audit as well as business advisory services including those relating to cross border due diligence, M&A transactions, efficient capital management and risk management advisory services. He has advised clients in cross border transactions in the UK, USA, Canada, PRC and ASEAN countries. His work covers a wide range of industries which include food and beverages, manufacturing, oil and gas, renewable energy, telecommunications, healthcare, education services and infrastructures.
Woon Teck works closely with entrepreneurs and advises them on their growth and fund raising strategies as well as succession planning and change management issues. He works with entrepreneurs to develop financing roadmap that can support the sustainable growth of their businesses. Woon Teck is a frequent speaker at public seminars and workshops, having been invited by statutory boards, trade and professional associations, banks and MediaCorp to speak on topics relating to managing working capital, risk management, fund-raising and mergers and acquisitions. Woon Teck lectures on Corporate Advisory in its BAcc programmes of the Singapore Management University.
Woon Teck used to be a member of the corporate finance committee of the Singapore Investment Banking Association. He was also a member of the taskforce under the ACE Finance Action Crucible to review the issues of financing for internationalising SMEs. In addition, he authored "Financial Handbook for SMEs", a joint publication by SPRING Singapore and the Association of Banks. Prior to joining Chio Lim Stone Forest Group, Woon Teck was a Financial Controller with Kuok (Singapore) Limited and an Audit Manager with Ernst & Young in Singapore. |
