Background & Achievements

Chiou Mei has more than 16 years of experience in assurance, consultancy and financial audits. She has led audit teams in carrying out financial and operational audits as well as application system reviews, e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, CitiBanking and DBS Ideal. She also has experience in special reviews and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance. Her industry experience includes aerospace, electronics, marine, automotive, ordnance, property, precision engineering, telecommunication, semiconductor, printing and retail, some of which are public-listed companies in Singapore and the USA. Her overseas assignments covered countries like China, USA, Germany, Vietnam and New Zealand.

Chiou Mei was the Head of Internal Audit of a public listed company in Singapore, managing a team of 4 auditors and had worked with Singapore Technologies Pte Ltd and the Housing Development Board.
