Background & Achievements

Jeremy joined RSM Chio Lim as an audit director in June 2010. In addition to audit services, he works on the China Practice Group, specialising in audit engagements of clients with operations in China, as well as Chinese clients with operations in Singapore.

Jeremy has more than 13 years of audit experience with international public accounting firms in Singapore and China. His experience ranged from the audit of emerging businesses to multinationals, financial institutions and public listed companies. He has also managed several initial public offerings and due diligence assignments.

Prior to joining RSM Chio Lim, Jeremy was a Senior Technical Manager with the Financial Reporting Regulations Division at the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA). He also served as a member on the Singapore Accounting Standards Council (ASC) Secretariat Team. The secretariat team supports the ASC in prescribing financial reporting standards for companies and organisations in Singapore.

Jeremy represented ASC and Singapore in overseas conferences such as IASB Roundtables, Regional IFRS Policy Forums and Asian-Oceanian Standard-Setters Group (AOSSG). He also participated actively in various regional technical working groups, such as revenue recognition, replacement of IAS 39 and consolidation, which were established by accounting standards setters within the Asia Pacific region.
