Workshop - Managing GST Risks

GST-registered businesses are beginning to realise that there are potential risks in every transaction due to incorrect GST treatment. However, many still harbour common misconceptions about GST compliance and GST audits, and are unaware that the IRAS has provisions to allow businesses to correct mistakes with lower or no penalties when errors are discovered.

This workshop aims to address the above and equip businesses with the knowledge to better manage GST risk and compliance.

Outline
Facilitators from our GST team will share:
  • The common myths about GST compliance
  • How to handle an IRAS GST audit
  • Ways to manage and improve GST risk
  • Voluntary disclosure programmes available
  • Recent GST developments, including the Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP) and Assisted Self-Help Kit (ASK)
