| Roles & Responsibilities: |
. |
Be the firm’s lead technical resource (incorporating accounting and auditing standards, Companies Act, SGX listing rules, corporate governance etc.) |
. |
Act as a key advisor on the appropriate application of current accounting standards and the adoption of new accounting standards |
. |
Stay at the forefront of accounting and disclosure guidance, as well as peer company disclosures, to propose best practices in external reporting and implement applicable changes to company reporting |
. |
Assist QC Partner to perform in-house quality inspection and champion RSM methodology, QA policies and other quality matters |
. |
Participate in RSM International led inspections of other RSM offices |

| Requirements: |
. |
Degree or professional accounting qualifications recognised by ICPAS |
. |
Minimum 8 years’ experience in a public accounting firm, preferably performing technical work currently |
. |
Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards |
. |
Knowledge of US GAAP not a prerequisite but will be a plus |
. |
Able to effectively perform and supervise technical research on available knowledge bases |
. |
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills |
. |
Strong verbal and written communication skills |
. |
